Our ancestors grew up knowing the seasons well. Each crop grew at certain times of year, ripening full of flavor and nutrients, enticing the palates of old and young. Even today, nothing beats fresh! The vitamins and nutrients contained within the fruits and leaves are fullest when first picked, dropping quickly as hours pass by. Fresh is when the flavors are most intense. It is a strange environment we are now accustomed to, to have produce picked weeks in advanced, often when fruits are not fully ripe, covered in wax, gassed, and treated sometimes in unnatural ways, to make the produce last longer. It is an environment of glossed fruits and crops selected for storage and display instead of flavor. Come join us in bringing back the seasons.  No pesticides used, grown naturally, using seeds that are not GMO. Relax, and enjoy the fresh, local produce from your personal farmers.

What we offer:Little Field--Layton

  • Local
  1. We eat the food we sell. Get to know where and how your food is grown.
  • Pesticide Free
  1. We love nature. We do not use pesticides! We focus on growing produce using sustainable methods; such as using compost, green manures, and crop rotation.
  • Fresh
  1. We pick the produce when in season. Picked often within the hour of pickup. It does not get any fresher than that!

We offer vegetables, fruits, eggs, pork, and beef in the three options below:

1. Standard weekly produce pack. (23 weeks – mid-May to mid-October). For those who love all vegetables. A standard produce pack gives a random variety of fresh vegetables and fruits weekly designed to feed two.

2. Customized produce pack. For those who want particular vegetables, without getting the ones that go to waste. A customizable produce pack allows you to choose what and how much you desire.

3. Farm store. For those who want to order fresh on a weekly basis, without commitment. Available produce will be put online. Produce will be picked up at an arranged time.
