The Green Urban Lunch Box is a newly formed organization that has started changing a school bus into a mobile greenhouse/garden. Much has been done inside the bus already; and we are now ready to move the dirt in for the growing season! We are looking for people to join us in this Urban Gardening event on Monday, April 4th at 9am. Please spread the word! Come lend your expertise/learn alongside others; contribute to local, sustainable living; to have a great time and meet new people; but most of all, come ready to get dirty! =) Food and refreshments will be provided. Location is at 1520 S Pioneer Rd, near the Glendale Golf Course (close to California Ave & 2350 W intersection). For more information about us, please take a look at our Facebook page, or email. All questions are welcome! We sincerely hope you will join us in mobilizing The Green Urban Lunch Box; but if not, any assistance in spreading the word and finding volunteers will still be greatly appreciated!
