Appenzell Farm is happy to begin pre-sales on their succulent chickens, turkeys, and rabbits. They have been busy working with the state on approval for a small processing facility they are building on our farm.
If you are interested in a CSA share or ordering chickens individually then hurry on over to our website to make your order. There has been a lot of interest and chickens available in May and June are going to go especially fast.
They are offering our Poultry CSA share available as a full or half share, and with a Pastured Egg add-on.
Full CSA Share = 24 Whole Broilers
Half CSA Share = 12 Whole Broilers
CSA shareholders will also receive a 10% discount on all our other products. So if you have a share and you would like to get an extra couple chickens one month or a turkey for Thankgiving then you will enjoy this discount.
This year pickup times will work differently. Orders can be picked up fresh the day they are processed (select Fridays) at the farm or the following day at the Cache Valley Gardeners’ Market. If you are unable to pick up your order at that time, it can be picked up frozen any other Saturday at the CVGM or at the farm during our business hours.
